  3. The IPLPDN WG made the following progress:
  4.  
  5.  o Andy Malis lead a careful review of the "IP over X.25" draft.  All
  6.    remaining issues were resolved, and Andy volunteered to incorporate
  7.    the modifications in the weeks after the IETF meeting.  The revised
  8.    draft will be made available, and, if there are no objections,
  9.    the chair will submit the final draft to the IESG and IAB for
  10.    release as an RFC on the standards track.

  12.  o The status of the "IP over Circuit ISDN" draft was discussed.  No text
  13.    had been generated during the interim, but Brian Lloyd volunteered to
  14.    write a first draft.
  15.  
  16.  o Work on parameter negotiation for Frame Relay Permanent Virtual
  17.    Circuits (PVCs) was reviewed.  To avoid unnecessary duplication of
  18.    the work done for Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), the group
  19.    agreed to coordinate this work with that of the PPP Extensions
  20.    Working Group.

  22.  o Paul Tsuchiya presented an expansion of the "shortcut" approach
  23.    to address resolution.  Issues were uncovered, particularly an
  24.    issue concerning security, which Paul volunteered to address in
  25.    a future revision of the draft.

  27. Before adjourning, the group agreed that more time would be required
  28. at the next IETF meeting.
